Ingredients

2 cups water

1 + 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

3 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

In a saucepan on medium-high heat, stir everything other than the vanilla.

Boil until all the sugar has dissolved, about 5 mins.

Remove from the heat and mix in the vanilla essence.

After cooling, transfer to a glass jar and store in fridge.
