Qeema
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion (diced)
2 small tomatoes (diced)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder (also known as tez laal masala)
Directions
Fry the onion until transparent, add tomatoes and cook till soft. Liquidize and set aside.
In a different pan, add the ginger and garlic paste to a little bit of oil till aromatic (1 min or so), add ground beef and cook 80% of the way through.
Add the spices and the onion/tomato paste, and let cook. Add water as needed to make it dry or saucy.
Simmer for 15-20 mins, and you’re done!
